New business

So it is 1am and I'm so excited about this new Pampered Chef business...what a blast! I'm so thankful to God for giving me this opportunity. If I could make this work and stay home with my babies I would just be so greatful. Here I am in the morning still working but my house is clean and I'm mostly just doing things because I love it I hope this excitement never wears off.
Today I have two awesome visitors hangin Tiffany and Rachel. Man, I feel like I have four extra hands and it is such a blessing.
I totally understand why folks have babies when they have teenagers...it lightens the load for sure. Tonight we went to get ice cream and man were the boys hiped. Every time Ben talked to Tiffany he did it with his eyes BUGGED out of his head as if it was the most exciting thing she was ever going to hear.

The kite adventure

So today Tiffany and Rachel were visiting and we spent a lot of time up on the quad playing...well laughing.
First at Shawn trying to get the kite in the air then, at Ben yelling at him for not meeting his kite flying expectations, then at all the silly volleyball attempts...fun fun day!
Meanwhile Baby Evan just slept in his stroller as peaceful as can be...

Oh how I love babies...

I just cannot get past this whole baby thing...I mean the warmth of them alone. They just engulf me...I want to kiss them smell them hold them...I adore them...and this is why I cannot say this is my last baby...how can you say that...when they scare themselves from laughing or can't stop staring or they coo and it makes you just want to squeal back for no reason. They honestly bring out the best in everyone...at least that's my opinion...ok now onto what we've been up to.
Yesterday Ben decided he was gonna teach himself to swim in true Ben style...he just said (after not swimming for 8 months) I'm gonna swim now without swimmies...so I took them off and he swam...all around...with no swimmies...head fully under the water.
Baby Evan enjoyed the water too at 6 weeks...he kept sticking his head back to feel the water on his neck...here is some pics!
THANKS TO THE WILLIAMS FAMILY...for a wonderful day of swimming and amazing food for Memorial Day...

Summer fun indoors...stupid rain!

So this week was the first full week that Ben was home from school and we have had so much fun! The boys have a new favorite hobby thanks to Ms. Dee of building tents...I think architectural design is definitely their forte. Here is one of their latest designs in which they included Baby Evan and his swing...I love Evans face...he has that look of seriously...:
Baby Evan also had his first real tub bath this week. The boys bathed him and it was so adorable to watch them. Jacob said "Evan it's time you get squeeky clean...no splashing no splashing these are my good clothes" HA!

Forgot pics on my last post...here's some pics of these lovebugs

Jacob does not have a black eye...must have been something on the lens...this is the best I could get of this kid...he hates pics...
Benjamin will just sit and hold Evan for as long as you will let him just playing with his little hand and talking to him...I just adore this little fart! This is him reading his little bible to Evan...no folks I did not pose him this is just what I caught him doin.

Daddy and the boys had a competition...I think Ben legitimately beat daddy at least once...

Casey and Ryan took the boys to the circus in Ft. Ashby on Saturday...Jake refused to go in saying it's too "youd"

The week from...well you know where

So it's only Thursday and it has been the week...well you get the point...it has been aweful. The beginning of the week began with Jacob getting peed on by Evan because he was standing right beside the changing table while I changed Evan. Then Jacob pooped on the floor in his room and tried to hide it by shoving it in a pull up under his bed...Ben and I found it after we both determined to find the stench crawled around with our noses to the floor like a bunch of hounds. Then at the docs Ben insisted on informing our pediatrician (since ya know she has no clue and he knows everything) that Evan's "invisible cord" has not fallen off yet and that is what hooked to mommy for Evan to eat. Could she please take a look at this "invisible cord" because it smells aweful.
Ben also insists on acting 10 years older than he is so at every moment he must boss poor Jakey...which Jacob lovingly returns with a knock on the head...so every five minutes in this house there is a scream or whine...agh!
On top of this my kidney stone still being there is not the only medical problem and I had to go to the docs...yuck...and in the process of getting there I dumped a whole can of formula on the floor.
Evan has decided that when mommy is around and it is bedtime he must stay awake and play and when Daddy is around he can sleep...thank you Evan.
Needless to say I wouldn't trade any of this...I absolutely love being mommy because of these things:
Ben and Jake both telling me daily that I am "bootiful". Benjamin explaining that it's sometimes scary when you pray cause "you can hear God but can't see Him", Jacob falling on the concrete and getting a huge boo boo and Benjamin running to his rescue to kiss it and take his hand to lead him to me, Benjamin asking for extra "pekkemoni" on his stromboli and Evan loving bobbing his little head on my face as if to give me kisses (or eat me, not sure which).
Either way I love these little guys and all combined with a hubby that has volunteered to watch Evan while I get a chunk of sleep twice this week...I love you baby!
Well blogger I hope to write to you daily...all who read I hope you enjoy!

Ben's PreK Graduation

Today Ben graduated Preschool and I had the privilege of leading the ceremony. Oh my am I proud of my students especially my little Ben. He has grown so much since the beginning of the year. He began the year at Keyser Head Start but by the Spring I realized my classroom would be much more suitable for him since I was on and off bedrest and could not always make it to his school to get him. In addition I knew my assistant and sub would love on him as he was struggling with the idea of another baby coming in.
He began at Keyser Wee Care and really blossomed making many new friends. Today he wore his little blue cap and gown proudly as he smiled with his new found friends. I hope to never forget the songs they sang including his favorite:
Alligator by Dr. Jean
An Alligator is my friend; and he can be your friend too...if only you could understand don't wear him as your shoe...Alligator Alligator...it goes on and on...so cute! Jacob sat on the front pew looking so proud and singing along with Ben's class...so adorable. (till he started dry heaving...still have no clue what that was all about) hehe...it's always something around here!

To catch up

To catch you all up this has been what the Twigg Family has been up to:

Jake turned 2...all the way back in August...come on folks I know I'm seriously behind...cut me a break...He had an Elmo Farm party and it was a blast...funniest part of the party was Jakey running around in just a diaper because it was 90 degrees and he ate 4 bowls of chili (his request folks the boy loves chili) and drank Pepsi (thank you Leslie Salyards) and spewed them both all over himself...fun times fun times!
Ben turned 5...oh my that's hard to type...it seems like yesterday he was just a little mite. His party was a CiCi's pizza and his favorite gift was a bike and helmet. Although since he's received this bike it has been a constant argument...he wants to ride on his own then he wants you to help him and he just wants so bad to snap those little fingers and immediately be riding without training wheels...oh Ben if only the power of his body met the power of his mind.We had an amazing Easter with new baby Evan. Thanks to the movie HOP the boys are obsessed with the Easter Bunny and Jacob screams every time one runs close to the road run bunny run..
