Nana and Pappy's ZOO

SO today the boys stayed with Nana and Pappy while mommy trained at her new job...they helped Nana and Pappy take the doggies and bird to the kennel as they will be vacationing this week. I cannot imagine what that vehicle sounded or looked like...both my boys, nana, pappy, Sam (Lab, Chow mix), Madyson (Boxer, Lab) and Birdie in a cage...lol!
The boys had a blast then it was to the mall for a walk and some dinner. What a fun day!

Grandma Twigg's 80th

So today was Grandma Twigg's 80th birthday party...and I forgot my camera...Mrs. Marcie Twigg looked stunning in her red shirt and was so surprised that everyone was together for her birthday...plus we all got pictures...together all the grandkids and great grandkids and spouses...it was amazing...except for when Ben left kicking and screaming because he didn't get to see grandma open her presents. I pray that when I am 80 that many people will desire to be at my party...lol...WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA TWIGG

Summer Fun

Today you boys had a visit from grandma...she taught you how to put on shoes much to big for you and walk around the house in them...great grandma fun!

Then some hide and seek time with Casey...while mommy and daddy went to the church for a service...I was told you guys ran around like crazy...I hope you sleep very well.

School, Cake and Bees

Thursday we visited my new job and Ben's new school location. Within minutes my little guys were crowded around the "blue mat" following teacher's orders and enjoying the company of all the other adorable faces. I have such a peace about this.
Ben insisted on making a cake for the whole "famiwy". So today he made a cake from start to finish almost completely himself. He looked at the picture on the box and told me what to measure...I'm so proud of him
Ben,
You are so smart...I mean just smarter than I ever imagined you to be. I know you are going to do so well with your new teacher Ms. Heather...this is going to be great. Just a heads up to your future wife...when my son says he cannot cook because he doesn't know how you show him this post and say your momma had you cooking at 4 I think you can make me dinner!
hehe!
Love ya Buddy!
Momma

Jakey,
Oh my kid you are cracking me up. Yesterday we went to the soccer field here at PSC to kick the ball around and you bent down to the grass and said what's that...I said it's a bee stay away buddy it will give you ouchies...you waved your little hand and said "hi baby bee" and as you reached for it I gave a yell no Jake don't touch...So...what was once your friend is now something you fear...thanks to momma...You spent the rest of the afternoon sitting in the stroller pointing at the bees...saying no ouchies no ouchies!
lol.
Mommy Loves you

Ben's talking

To my Benjamin's future wife,

I pray that you are prepared for the mouth that is Ben...it's as if his mouth is super charged with every energizer battery in the world...everything involves a full story. To even turn on the tv he feels the need to educate everyone in the room on exactly which button to push when and what all the numbers on the remote are including which channels are "allowed" and which are not. On Sunday Ben prayed very sweetly...Dear God, please let me die and go to heaven so I can have a big house and a backyard...seriously...this was his very serious prayer. He insists that we just have to move from on campus because he NEEDS a dog and a backyard with a swingset. For now our outside moments are shared by the beautiful view of the mountains...the softball field for Ben and Jake to practice t-ball and the small porch that for now has become a basketball court...hey you use what you have right?

To my loves,

Today we visited the library. It's so awesome to see this small little town's library start to grow. The four bookshelf library now has bean bags and videos to loan...you guys are loving it! I just love spending time with you bugs. What a sticky mess we made making our own pizzas...Ben you even ate pepperoni...what a surprise! J.D. mommy is just so proud of you that you are trying to go potty...you spend most of the day yelling "I go peep...I go peep" What a joy you both are...love you! Mommy took some pictures of you today including Jakey and his computer time insisting on watching MELMO!!!!
I love you so much!
Verse for today: 1 Cor. 13:4 Remember : Love is patient...Love is kind
Renee

It's been a while

Rachel turns sixteen

Ben learns to write his name and many other words on his own

Daddy and Ben have taken to spending lots of time outside including Ben taking t-ball and practicing Kung Fu moves.

And TODAY...we made our own pizzas...YUM!

It's been a while since I've posted...bad mommy...lol.

On February 27th we lost our dear baby in a miscarriage. Our precious Baby Boy is now being sung to by angels and that makes me glad to know he's in safe hands.

Here on earth we are still grieving trying desperately to move on. Ben periodically asks me about his baby and I remind him that we will see the baby in heaven one day. I am determined to keep up with this blog as my boys are growing so big and I feel this is a great way to remember their times...here is a little fast forward of what has happened since the last post. From this point on I've decided to make this a letter to my love bugs and I will be writing it as such.
